Kelsey Jensen - Director/team Coach

Kelsey is the co-founder and director for the FM Fierce since the inaugural year in 2013. She has been coaching basketball for over a decade but has had a passion for basketball and sports all her life. She coached basketball at Oak Grove Lutheran High School from 2015-2021, coached girls’ golf at Fargo Davies from 2021-2024 and coached basketball at Capstone Classical Academy 2022-2024.

Kelsey works full time and is the Activities/Athletic Director at Capstone Classical Academy since September 2024. She graduated from NDSU with a BS in Environmental Design, Masters of Architecture and MBA.

Although passing on opportunities to play both college basketball and golf to pursue academics, Kelsey continued to utilize her athletic abilities in numerous city leagues including basketball, golf, hockey, softball and volleyball. In high school she was a four sport all-conference athlete playing basketball, golf, softball and volleyball.

Kelsey currently lives in the country in Minnesota with her husband, Paul and two labrador retrievers, Diggity and Rusty. She enjoys many hobbies including golfing, training/competing in kayak races and triathlons, graphic design, traveling, hunting, fishing, volunteering, reading books/listening to podcast on leadership and business and spending time at the cabin on Big Cormorant Lake in the summer.

The best part about coaching for Kelsey are the relationships formed and seeing players develop into great ballers but even better people! Kelsey is thankful for all the Fierce players and their families she has been able to meet over the years and get to know.
